A remote rental-property request needs an authorized requester, a tenant-notice plan, a day-of contact, complete access notes, and a property-specific completion record. Before the visit

  1. Confirm that the requester can authorize the work.
  2. Follow the lease, management agreement, and local notice rules that apply to the property.
  3. Tell the occupant what exterior access is needed and the expected visit window.
  4. Keep pets, vehicles, and movable items clear of the work area where practical.
  5. State who can approve a scope or price change.

After the visit

Use the completion checklist. Store the service date, agreed scope, proof, inaccessible areas, and follow-up observations with the property record. Route repairs, roof problems, and buried-drain issues to the correct service.
