Most leaves from maples and cottonwoods are down by late November, and snow and ice make ladder work unsafe for much of the winter. That leaves a short fall window: book after most leaves are down and before the first lasting snow, or plan on a spring visit.
What gutter cleaning costs in Boise
Three written replies to our two-story request confirmed different amounts of work and fees. One left downspouts, ground cleanup, tax, and other fees open. The Boise cost checklist shows which questions to settle before comparing a total for your property.
How do Eagle and Nampa take fall leaves?
The two towns want leaves in opposite forms: Eagle in paper bags, Nampa loose.
Eagle
The city's current leaf page lists curbside leaf pickup from November 2 to November 27, run by Hardin Sanitation on your regular trash day, and leaf drop-off sites from October 5 to December 13. Paper bags only: leaves set out in plastic bags draw an extra bag fee and go in the trash (City of Eagle, read 2026-09-26). The curbside window closes at the end of November, which is also about when the fall gutter window closes, so a visit in the second half of November fits both.
Nampa
Nampa's parks division takes loose leaves, not bags, at Kohlerlawn Cemetery through the fall, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from November to mid-December, and turns them into park mulch (Nampa Parks and Recreation, read 2026-09-26). If you rake the yard on the day of a gutter visit, leave the leaves loose for the drop-off rather than bagging them.
