The job we asked providers to price
The request specified a two-story single-family home with about 180 linear feet of gutters, four downspouts, no guards, moderate leaves, no roof debris, and normal ladder access from a walkable yard. It asked for gutter debris removal, all four downspouts flushed or cleared, cleanup, debris haul-away, tax, and every mandatory fee. Repairs, guard installation, and roof cleaning were excluded.

The request kept stories, length, downspouts, debris, and access constant. That does not prove that every provider included all of them. Do not treat the $275 reply as a cheaper equivalent of the two out-the-door offers without clarification. The sample is too small to estimate a market average.
Boise replies we did not count
A $250 reply and a $199 reply did not state tax and every mandatory fee. Another reply supplied a linear-foot rate but no full-job total. Those replies can help identify questions, but they are not confirmed all-in prices.
Compare your quote with the study

- Stories and height: Every request described two stories. Confirm that height is included in the reply before comparing it with a one-story or three-story offer.
